All employers must register with NSSA — whether formal or informal — within 30 days of becoming an employer. NSSA manages two schemes: the Workers Compensation & Insurance Fund (employer-funded) and the National Pension Scheme (funded equally by employer and employee).
To register you'll typically need:
- Certificate of incorporation
- CR6 (CR14) and CR5 (CR6)
- Company contact details (phone, address, email)
- Certified ID copies of any two directors
- Business and bank details
- Employee details (name, ID, DOB, address, salary)
On registration the company receives an SSR number and employees are allocated SSNs. Returns are due by the 10th of each month; late payments attract penalties. We handle the whole process for you.
